We absolutely loved our stay at the Shepherds Hut Dolly Wagon. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby mountains and the view of the newborn lambs in the field was adorable. The owner was very helpful and informative, making us feel right at home. The hut itself was cute and had everything we needed, including a microwave, double hob, and fridge. Despite being small, it was warm and cozy, making for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to come back again soon.

The toilet facilities were adequate, but it would have been nice to have some storage space in the hut itself. We were lucky it didn't rain as we had to keep all our belongings in the car.

Despite visiting in mid-November, the hut was warm and we didn't even need to use the heater. The host was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. The facilities were good, with a separate toilet and £1 showers. The hut itself was well-equipped with a microwave, double hob, kettle, sink, and fridge. The idyllic surroundings, including sheep right outside our door, made our stay even more special.

The location at Stybeck Farm is perfect for hiking in the Helvellyn range with stunning views of Great How and Thirlmere. the owner is helpful and the shepherd's hut is cute and adequately equipped. Ideal for a couple of dry days.
